I bought my blue FJR used in 2006, with about 1000 miles on it. Since then I have ridden around 27k miles. Most of the miles are from commuting, but I've done several trips into West Virginia, and in January 2012 rode to Key West.
When I got the bike it already had a few modifications: handlebar risers, custom seat, highway pegs, and handgrip warmers. I've added a Garmin Zumo 550 GPS with a RAM mount, a RAM mount for my Droid RAZR cell phone with a power lead, and a Powerlet outlet.
In preparation for the Alaska trip I bought an Aerostitch Large MotoFIZZ camping bag.
